When I Roll From Sleep (Poetry)

When I roll from sleep
I'd do the moon a favor to fall back in
Lop off a head with mounting bounty
Subdue the witch, hoist her up to heaven
Feed her back to the stars from which she was born

When I stretch my body
A flash of leg, Immediate itch
Like the evening drink and painted nails
Dancing crosses up your back
She can give it, she can take it
